V.I. Inspector General Budget Presentation FY 2025

The newly-appointed VI Inspector General, Delia Thomas, delivered the agency’s proposed budget before the V.I. Legislature in July 2024. The Inspector General outlined the number of employees in the agency. She went on to outline the training the staff received regarding auditing, inspections, and ethics. Importantly, the Inspector General stressed the need for additional Investigators for the office, highlighting the workload. The budget proposal marks a 2.7% increase from the previous year.
