V.I. Inspector General Budget Presentation FY 2026

Virgin Islands Inspector General, Delia Thomas, delivered the agency’s proposed budget before the V.I. Legislature in August 2025. The Inspector General highlighted the agency’s achievements during fiscal year 2025, including the successful completion of audits and inspections. She also candidly discussed the challenges, such as maintenance-related issues that strained the budget, and delays in obtaining information from some agencies. In addition, she also outlined the status of each ongoing assignment. The budget proposal remains consistent with the previous year. Details are available in the attached document.
